Strength to Strength; Agencia Strengthens Management Team to Achieve Unrivalled Business Success

A change management consultancy established in 1997, Agencia works in the public, private and voluntary sectors, throughout the UK and overseas.  Agencia has applied its experience and expertise to both the planning and implementation of change within its own organisation.  This includes fifteen months of succession planning and a focus on ensuring a resilient and consistent focus for the future for all those who work with Agencia.

Andrew Gibson (Managing Director) stated: “Agencia is delighted to be able to formally announce these changes, and the benefits they will bring to Agencia and our partner organisations.   These changes mark an historic moment in the development of Agencia, providing a firm base for Agencia to go from strength to strength.  They will help us to uphold our values and will enable us to continue supporting organisations to develop during these challenging times.   The new management structure will continue to be inclusive in its style and approach, and aims to give greater focus to various aspects of our work.  I am excited that these new arrangements will allow us to mobilise more fully the enthusiasm and talent that resides within the whole Agencia team.”

The new management structure began to take shape in 2011, with the appointment of Helen Gibson as Director, which holds her in good stead for her new role of joint Managing Director which she will share with her father (Andrew Gibson) from August 2012.

The Management Team will also benefit from a number of recent additional appointments.  These include the appointment of Victoria Austin, who joined the team in May 2012 as Business Development Manager.  Her focus will be on leading and co-ordinating marketing and sales.   Two Sector Advisors have also been appointed; Steve Pitts (UK Justice & International) and Mike Robson (Health & Social Care).  The Sector Advisors will also be members of the Management Team and will be the key driver for the co-ordination and identification of need in their sectors.  The new Management Team will hold its inaugural meeting in June and is poised to grow these strengths over the coming months.
