Pitts launches Agencia’s new 2011 UK justice brochure
Steve Pitts has recently been appointed to lead Agencia Consulting’s UK justice work. One of his first priorities has been to reflect changes in the public sector within Agencia’s UK justice service offering. Steve says “Agencia understands the current policy context in which the UK criminal justice system is operating and we have re-shaped our strategy, capability and capacity accordingly to ensure that we continue to be able to support our clients as the landscape changes.”
Agencia can support justice sector organisations to:
- Reduce waste and increase the efficiency of the criminal justice process, including widening the application of LEAN approaches to inter agency working.
- Increase the use of commissioning models for the delivery of services to victims and witnesses and interventions to reduce re-offending.
- Use payment by results to incentivise investment in criminal justice by new providers.
- Make better use of prison and community sentences to punish offenders and improve public safety.
Agencia has an experienced justice team and is internationally trusted. Most of our clients are UK based, but we are also working in Croatia, Serbia, , and Ukraine. Clients have included the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Ministry of Justice, Department for International Development, Ministry of Defence, and Her Majesty’s Courts Service.
