Agencia Exhibits at National Dementia Strategy Conference

Following the launch of The National Dementia Strategy in February 2009, Agencia has been invited to exhibit at a national conference aimed at ‘Implementing the National Dementia Strategy". The conference is being hosted by the Health Service Journal and the Local Government Chronicle to discuss best practice in care for dementia, and takes place on Tuesday 23rd February.

The conference brings together those working towards improving dementia services, both providers and commissioners, from PCTs, voluntary sector agencies , mental health trusts, hospitals and community care organisations. All of these are looking for cost effective solutions to implementing the strategy locally.

The conference includes a wide range of high profile speakers, including Neil Hunt, Chief Executive of The Alzheimer’s Society.

Liz Parker, a Senior Consultant at Agencia, comments: “this is an exciting opportunity for us to share our work and learn more about how colleagues across the country are embedding services to ensure early diagnosis and intervention, and radically improve the quality of care received people with dementia.”
