Agencia has a unique opportunity for a Sector Director role within our Health & Social Care work. You will be responsible for planning and implementing a strategic approach to business development, and identifying and winning work within the sector. You will lead a team of expert consultants to make sustainable change happen for our clients. We are flexible about where you are based and the hours that you work. We will give you the autonomy to win work in the UK and internationally, whilst providing you with the support and back up to be successful in your efforts. You must have detailed knowledge of the Health and Social Care Sector in the UK and experience of operating with senior stakeholders in this market. International experience is preferable, but not essential. We are a business that gets things done. We believe in the power of collaboration and need a leader who will work with our clients and people. Enthusiasm, resilience and creativity are essential for you to succeed in this role.

Agencia has recently delivered a bilateral project with the British Embassy and the Ministry of Health in Tunisia on a new system for coding medical documentation. This coding will enable mapping of clinical pathways (including costing each component) so that the Ministry of Health can make improved intelligence-led decisions about where resources should be apportioned.

Agencia’s Active Recovery team organised a Big lunch event that was inspired by the late MP, Jo Cox as part of The Great Get Together weekend of community celebrations.  This was the latest in a succession of steps that the Active Recovery team have taken towards building a united local community in Scunthorpe.

Agencia is hosting the “Active Change Community Recovery Service” for registered drug users in North Lincolnshire. Combining clinical and psychosocial interventions, this new service went live in April 2014.

The Agencia service meets the prescribing needs of registered users and a wide range of support will help them to build recovery into all aspects of their lives.  The role of Agencia includes providing constructive challenge to individual service users, and the partnership of organisations involved, in order to maximise recovery outcomes. Effective partnership with a broad range of support organisations is therefore key to our approach.
