Ian Hargreaves, Principal Consultant

Ian worked in the NHS for over twenty years, in a variety of planning and managerial posts at all levels. In his last NHS role, he was Executive Director and Deputy Chief Executive for a Health Authority, with responsibility for strategic development and commissioning of community, priority and primary care services. He was a member of several regional working groups.

Ian has provided consultancy in health and related services since 1998. His work has focused on the development of new organisations and roles in the NHS and developing the health agenda within Local Authorities. As Chairman of the Governors at his local school for several years, and through consultancy work in the wider community, Ian also has experience of the significant changes taking place in other sectors.
